Kevin Kolb is Number One on Cardinals’ Wish List

When reports leaked out that the Arizona Cardinals spoke to the Denver Broncos about a deal involving Kyle Orton, the Cardinals still stated that Kevin Kolb is number one on their wish list.

It is obvious that Arizona still wants Kolb and will most likely inquire about him soon enough. According to reports, they won’t go after Orton unless a deal with Kolb does not go through.

If the Eagles were to deal Kolb, it would be interesting to see what we could get for him as the Eagles are in need of another solid player to put in the secondary. The Cardinals just drafted Patrick Peterson fifth overall out of LSU and they have Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. One of these young players will most likely be asked for from the Eagles in my opinion and I think the Cardinals may be willing to give one of them up for Kolb.

Adam Schefter of ESPN spoke on the situation on NFL Live, “Kevin Kolb is going to get dealt from Philadelphia, most likely going to be to the NFC West, and right now all signs point to Arizona.”

The Eagles should only trade Kolb for the right price. If it’s not there, then keep him here as the backup and better deals will emerge the next season.

Reports also said that the Cardinals are not interested in Donovan McNabb.
